November 9, 2012 – Imagine the following scenario: A handful foreign-sponsored rebels start to try to wreak havoc to the only true democratic system in the world. After failing to succeed in their evil plans, they start to cry for help to the most powerful military alliance in the history of time. It still takes this most powerful military alliance in the history of time more than seven months to bomb the democratic and sovereign country into submission. Subsequently, after hundreds of thousands of casualties and deaths, the country’s resources are robbed and its assets are stolen – stolen to be used in a similar war, with similar purposes, causing similar casualties and deaths.
Imagine this all would happen in a very short period of time – let’s say in one or two weeks – and humanity would be able to fully see through the veil used by the imperialist powers to hide their true intentions. Won’t we all be in constant utter shock and awe over the excessive injustice, the immense crimes and the indescribable suffering that human beings cause to their fellow human beings?
But because these criminal acts are skillfully phased and happen in stages, the conditioned human mind tends to put it into some vague perspective or even to forget.
Our perception of time has become one of the most powerful weapons of mass destruction, as it influences our perception of reality by changing a past reality in our memory to something that equals less actual with less important – no longer actual with no longer important – only to psychologically prepare us for absorbing new shocks, new crimes and new atrocities in a way that disconnects them from the importance and relevance of earlier events.
If we are able to connect the dots and to relate what happened in the past to what is happening in the present, there is no doubt we will be overwhelmed first of all by how all the pieces of the puzzle start falling into places, and subsequently about how incredibly ugly and corrupt the complete image turns out to be – and that we are part of that mess.
This is something the imperialist powers do not want us to discover and experience, at all. They are willing to provide us a few glimpses of truth on a certain level which they most of the time present as isolated facts, just sufficient to keep what has remained of a healthy functioning human mind satisfied. So when we read the article that caught my attention earlier on this week headlined Libya helps bankroll Syrian opposition movement, they allow us to conclude that this out-of-proportion amount which the so-called Libyan government donated to the so-called Syrian revolutionaries ain’t fully okay since enemy and friend already has acknowledged that “Al Qaeda” is fighting among the Syrian rebels.
What they don’t want us to realize though and what the article blatantly covers up and conceals in the crypts of time, is that there was no Libyan or Syrian revolution to start with but an imperialist invasion by bankrupt Western countries instead, that thus the so-called Libyan government is nothing but an occupation regime, as well as the fact that the millions of dollars given to the Syrian terrorists aren’t even “former Gaddafi assets” but the direct possessions of the Libyan people themselves, as under the Jamahiriya all power, arms and wealth belonged to the people.
In the exact same way the corporate – and even the less corporate – media now present us the ludicrous story saying that CIA director David Petraeus has resigned due to an “extramarital affair”, which makes as much sense as a bus driver resigning over accidentally or even deliberately having overcooked his dinner last night. It simply does not make any sense at all, and we don’t even have to dig that deeply into it to find a deeper layer to this story in a recent article with headline Petraeus Throws Obama Under the Bus that states:
Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”
So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.
The Washington Post furthermore writes on November 9:
Petraeus was scheduled to testify next week on Capitol Hill in hearings on the deaths of four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador and two CIA security officers, in Libya in September. U.S. officials said Friday that the controversy surrounding that attack – and the administration’s shifting explanations for it – played no role in Petraeus’s decision to resign.
However, “Benghazi” and whoever has been responsible for it – no one has claimed responsibility so far and taking in consideration the current state of utter chaos, any terrorist or revolutionary with a gun could have done it – has already moved to the background of the majority’s conditioned thoughts and to the indoors of the majority’s conditioned memories. Or if it already is still on people’s minds, they collectively fail to connect the dots and thus the majority will jump on the extramarital affair wagon and perhaps even praise the man for coming clean with his wife-of-37-years.
Let’s before everything, leave no opportunity unused to actively gather independent knowledge on as much issues as possible, and let’s gather it with an active and independent mind that does not take anything for true only because someone told you it’s true. And as truth is timeless, let’s not be tricked by the concept of time that tries to fool us with false perceptions of reality and thus disconnects us from the bigger picture. In the connected chain that the world events are, there is not such thing as a less important link because it already has been there for quite a while.
It says that knowledge is power; I’d however rather say that knowledge is nothing but a run-up to power. Being aware of your power, possessing it and using it to the fullest is the indispensable second and completing part of it. We can walk the world with our heads filled with the finest knowledge; as long as we believe that we are powerless individuals in a world full of bullying aggressors, our knowledge will be nothing but a waste of brain cells.
